Summary
Working with KSC Lokeren, a proud football club in Belgium’s second division, has been a deeply rewarding experience. Together with a team of dedicated volunteers, I had the opportunity to shape and elevate the club’s online presence, providing a full spectrum of creative services. From photography and videography to social media management, I collaborated closely with these enthusiastic team members to capture the spirit of the club and bring its journey to life for fans, both loyal and new.
Our work aimed to create engaging, authentic content that showcases not only the excitement on the pitch but also the community that rallies behind the team. With each match, training session, and behind-the-scenes moment, we sought to convey the passion and pride that make KSC Lokeren unique. Working with volunteers who bring a deep love for the club added a special touch to this project, helping us build an authentic narrative that resonates with the fans.
Challenge
One of the biggest challenges in this collaboration was the reality of limited resources. Unlike the major clubs in Belgian football, KSC Lokeren doesn’t have the budget for extensive media teams or high-end equipment. Delivering high-quality content that rivals the “big players” in Belgian football required ingenuity, flexibility, and an ability to get the most out of every tool we had. Together with the volunteer team, we found creative solutions to produce impactful visuals and maintain a strong social media presence, proving that passion and dedication can bridge the gap when resources are tight. This project has been a testament to the power of teamwork and commitment in bringing a club’s story to life, regardless of the challenges.
